Advanced Adductor Sequence – Frog Stretch

We’re going on the very advanced stretch here. We’re gonna start out with what’s called the frog leg. This is once again for the adductor muscle inside your leg. And then we’re actually going to really like an advanced frog leg, which is very difficult.

So what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna start, we’re actually gonna bend one leg and then keep the other leg straight. And you’re gonna bring your hands right in the middle here. And you can actually use your elbow to open that leg up even more, to get a really big stretch. So on this one a nice trick to go from one side to the other, you don’t even have to move your feet. You can just squat.

Pivot. And go from one side together. And again, you’re gonna use your elbows. For a lot of people that can do this, this leg is gonna wind up being up, the less flexible of us. You’re gonna wind up using this elbow also on that knee.

Advanced Adductor Stretch – Frog Leg Stretch

Alright now, for the advanced part. This is the tougher one. So for this one, we’re gonna basically go on all fours and you’re gonna spread the legs out and you’re gonna wanna come down. And this is gonna come out like an L shape. And basically you’re gonna press down. So if I was here, my back would be about this high.

Yeah, this is a tough stretch.

But what you wanna do is use gravity to slowly sink into this one. And unlike some of the other stretches, this one, once you sink into it, you can just hold it for like a good 30 second count and let gravity do the work.
